Install and activate Plugins “Yoast SEO”
Buy Default XML Sitemap is not enabled in Yoast SEO.
You have to install it by going to SEO >XML Sitemap and enable it.
Now Save Setting and Your Sitemap is generated.
Now your sitemaps are generated and publicly accessible. WordPress SEO will show a XML Sitemap button which you can click to view your sitemap_index.xml sitemap.
