Generative engine optimization
for brands AI never mentions.

Your buyers now open ChatGPT or Perplexity before they reach Google. Getting named there — call it GEO, AEO, or AI SEO — comes from clear entities, clean data, and content worth citing, not tricks.

The problem

Recognise any of these? AI search is leaving you out.

Every answer an AI engine gives without you is a buyer who never sees your name — and you cannot fix what you cannot see.

  • ChatGPT and Perplexity recommend competitors, never you.

  • You are missing from Google AI Overviews for terms you should own.

  • AI answers describe your brand wrongly, or confuse it with another.

  • Organic clicks are sliding as AI answers absorb the query.

  • You have no idea what AI engines say about you, or why.

  • Your content ranks but never gets quoted as the source.

What we change

The same question. With you in the answer.

Whether an AI names you is decided by the signals underneath — entities it can resolve, data it can read, and content it can cite. Fix those, and the answer changes.

Entities → structured data → citable content

ai answer

“which tool should I use for {your category}?”

“Most people use Competitor A or Competitor B…”

you are not mentioned · no entity, no citable source

{Your brand}is widely recommended for…”

named and linked · clear entity · cited as the source

Same prompt. The difference is the signals underneath.
What we do

Old SEO fundamentals, aimed at new surfaces.

There is no trick to being cited by AI. It is clear entities, readable data, real authority, and content worth quoting — the same fundamentals, pointed at ChatGPT and AI Overviews.

  • Entity & brand clarity

Make AI understand who you are and what you do.

  • Structured data for AI

Schema that machines can read and trust.

  • Source-worthy content

Pages worth quoting, with claims AI can cite.

  • Topical authority

Cover the topic deeply enough to be the reference.

  • ChatGPT & AI Overview visibility

Show up in the answers, not just the blue links.

  • Knowledge-panel signals

The entity signals that build a knowledge panel.

How it works

See the gap. Build the signals. Track the citations.

Three phases, every time. You see the output of each one before the next begins.

  1. Map & diagnose

See what AI engines currently say about you, and where the entity, data, and content gaps are.

    You get

A baseline of your AI visibility and gaps.

  2. Build the signals

Fix entities and structured data, then create the source-worthy content AI engines actually cite.

    You get

Clean signals and citable content, live.

  3. Track citations

Monitor mentions across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews as the signals take hold.

    You get

Proof of where you are getting named.

The detail

GEO, AEO, AI SEO — what the work really is.

The terms move around and every vendor names them differently. Here is what the service covers, in plain words, and where it does not apply.

What is generative engine optimization?

Generative engine optimization is the work of making an AI engine understand your brand well enough to name it in an answer. When someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity for a recommendation, the model pulls from sources it can resolve and trust. GEO is about becoming one of those sources.

It is not a separate discipline with its own tricks. It is entity clarity, structured data, topical depth, and content worth quoting — the fundamentals, aimed at a surface that did not exist five years ago.

The confusing part is the naming. GEO, AEO, AI SEO, LLM optimization and AI search optimization all describe the same job. I use the precise terms here, but the work behind them is one thing.

GEO vs SEO: what actually changes?

The ranking goal changes, the mechanics mostly do not. Classic SEO wins a position on a results page. GEO wins a mention inside an answer that may never show a results page at all.

That shifts what matters. A page that ranks tenth can still be quoted as the source, and a page that ranks first can be summarised away with no click. So the target moves from position to being the citable source on a claim.

What carries over: crawlability, clean structured data, real authority, and honest content. What is new: writing so a single passage answers one question completely, because that passage is what gets lifted.

My position on this is unchanged since I started doing it — GEO is old SEO fundamentals applied to new surfaces. Anyone selling it as a secret system is selling the wrapper.

What does a GEO agency actually do?

Most of the work is unglamorous. We map what AI engines currently say about you, find where the entity breaks, fix the structured data, and then build the content that gives an engine something worth quoting.

The AEO side of it — answer engine optimization — targets the answer features specifically: the passages, the schema, and the question-shaped structure that let a page be lifted cleanly into an AI Overview.

Then we measure. Not with a tidy ranking number, because none exists, but by tracking how often you get named across the prompts your buyers actually type.

Do you need an AI SEO agency, or just better SEO?

Often it is just better SEO. If your site has crawl problems, a broken entity, or thin pages, no amount of AI-specific work will help — the engine cannot cite what it cannot read or trust.

I will tell you when that is the case. In nine engagements out of ten the first month looks like technical SEO, because that is what the foundation needs before anything AI-facing pays off.

You need this service specifically when the fundamentals are already sound and you are still absent from the answers. That is a different problem, and it has a different fix.

Common questions

What businesses ask about AI search.

Direct answers on GEO, AEO, “AI SEO”, how visibility is measured, and what we will not promise.

Still have a question? Contact us
What are GEO and AEO, and how are they different from SEO?

GEO (generative engine optimization) is about getting cited inside AI answers like ChatGPT and Perplexity; AEO (answer engine optimization) targets answer features like Google AI Overviews. Google itself treats both as still being SEO — the methods are old fundamentals (clear entities, structured data, useful content, authority) applied to new surfaces.

Is this the same as “AI SEO”?

Yes. AI SEO, GEO, AEO, and LLM optimization all describe the same goal — being understood and recommended by AI search. We use the precise terms, but if you are searching for “AI SEO”, this is the service.

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend us?

No, and anyone who promises that is guessing. AI engines decide what to cite. What we can do is build the entity clarity, structured data, authority, and citable content that make you far more likely to be named — and then measure it.

How do you measure AI visibility?

We track how often your brand is mentioned and cited across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews for the prompts that matter to you, and watch how that changes as the signals build. It is directional, not a tidy ranking number, and we are honest about that.

How long until we show up in AI answers?

It builds over months, not weeks. Entity and structured-data fixes can register fairly quickly, but being treated as a citable authority depends on content and reputation accruing over time.

What do you need from me to start?
