The stores, with the real offer.

The cheap hosting price is almost always a first-term price, and the renewal is where the bill jumps. Each store below shows the real code or link deal, the term it needs, and the renewal rate from the host’s own pricing page.

About hosting deals

Which hosting deal is actually cheapest after renewal?

The price on the banner is a first-term price. What you pay from year two is the number that decides the real cost, and on cheap shared hosting the gap is large.

Here is how the listed hosts compare on the two numbers that matter.

HostThe real dealStarts atRenews at
HostingerUp to 80% off, 48-month term$2.84/mo (Premium)$10.99/mo
EasyWPYearly pricing, or a 30-day free trial$3.24/mo (Starter, yearly)$5.74/mo
Cloudways30% off the first 3 months$14/mo$14/mo
WP Engine20% off with annual billing$28/mo (1 site, annual)Subject to change

Hostinger Premium goes from $2.84 to $10.99 a month, close to four times the intro price. That is not a trick. It is how budget hosting is priced, and it is fine as long as you plan for it.

Cloudways works the other way: the starting price is higher, but it is the price you keep paying. WP Engine's offer terms say its renewal pricing can change, so check it before year two.

Are "99% off" hosting coupon codes real?

No. On Hostinger the real discount is about 76 to 80 percent, and only on the 48-month term. On WP Engine the "50% off" pages are old or fake offers; the honest saving is 20% off with annual billing.

Namecheap's "up to 99% off" is maths off a few $0.99 first-year domain sales, not a code that works on hosting. If a percentage looks too good, check which term and which product it needs.

Do domain codes work on renewals?

No registrar code here applies to a renewal. A new .com at Namecheap is $6.79 for the first year with NEWCOM679 and renews at $14.98. At Spaceship, COM67 takes a new .com to $3.60 for the first year, and it renews at $9.98.

The two honest ways to pay less on a renewal: lock a multi-year term at the first-year price, or transfer the domain in for a cheaper year. For more on picking a registrar, our domain registrar guide compares the renewal prices.

Will a cheaper host fix a slow site?

Sometimes. Server response time, caching and the PHP version are set by the host before a single plugin loads. But a heavy theme or too many plugins will stay slow on any host, so check the cause before you move. Our guide to speeding up WordPress walks through what to check first.

How do we check these hosting deals?

We read each host's own pricing page and checkout, note the term the price needs and the renewal rate, and mark a code verified only when we saw it apply. Sellers change prices and expire codes without notice, so the price at the host's checkout is the one that counts. The full method is on how we test.

Are these web hosting coupon codes real?

The ones marked verified applied at checkout when we last checked. Many hosting deals need no code at all, because the discount rides the link. Codes promising 97 to 99 percent off are invented: Hostinger's real ceiling is about 80 percent, on a 48-month term.

Is there a hosting renewal coupon?

Not from any host listed here. Every discount covers the first term only. To delay the jump, lock the longest term up front, or pick a host like Cloudways, where the hourly price does not change at renewal.

Which host here has the lowest price for one WordPress site?

Hostinger Premium starts at $2.84 a month on the 48-month term and renews at $10.99. EasyWP Starter is $3.24 a month on yearly billing and renews at $5.74, with a free 30-day trial on monthly billing. Compare the four-year total, not the first month.

Why is the hosting price higher at checkout than on the deal?

The headline monthly rate assumes the longest term, paid up front. A 12-month term gets a smaller discount and renews sooner. A free domain or free email also renews at the standard rate after the first year, so budget for year two.

When is the cheapest time to buy hosting?

Black Friday and Cyber Monday in late November. Hostinger and WP Engine both run their deepest pricing then. Outside that window, the term length matters more than any code, because the longest term holds the intro price the longest.
