On SEO software a real discount is small: 10 or 20 percent, or a flat amount off. The bigger saving is often annual billing, not a code. Each store below shows the code that applies and what the plan costs when it renews.
Do SEO tool coupon codes actually work?
The real ones do, and they are smaller than the coupon sites claim. Here is what applies on each listed tool.

The 35%, 50% and 75% codes on aggregator sites do not work at checkout. Mangools publishes no public codes at all, and the "90% off Link Whisper" claim is really the per-site cost on its 50-site plan.
Is annual billing a bigger saving than a code?
On most SEO tools, yes. Mangools Basic is $30.50 a month on monthly billing. On annual billing with the 10% code, it works out to $16.96 a month.
That gap is far bigger than any code on its own. If you know you will use a tool for a year, pay annually and add the code on top.
Which SEO tool discount saves more over two years?
Look past the first payment. On Slim SEO, the 20% code beats the 10% one on day one, but only the 10% code applies to renewals. Keep the plugin for two years or more and the smaller code wins.
